Trauma-Inform Training for K-12th Grade School Staff
When children are going through traumatic grief, teachers and other school personnel could misinterpret changes in their behavior and academic performance. While protecting a child's privacy should always come first, it can also be beneficial to collaborate with staff who interact with the child to ensure that they are aware that the child has experienced a loss and may be going through challenges or seeing changes in their academic performance as a result.
